Random Product
Posted on 15. Sep, 2009 by Adam in Plugins
This is a simple widget created to wirk along with the WP E-commerce plugin (part of the WP Shopping Cart package). This widget adds the functionality of being able to generate a random product from the database and display it in one of your sidebars.
You can find the plugin at the Wordpress plugin repository here – http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/random-product/.

Great widget! I’ve been struggling to get this function to work on my own and stumbled upon your plugin by chance. I am having an issue with it, however. For some reason it is linking to the incorrect product page?

Is it actually linking to a separate product? Or it the link not working at all?

Hit send to send! If I could disable the link on the image and product title, that would be perfect!

I could try to add an option for that, but I can’t do it right now. I could tell you how to remove it from the code if you feel comfortable doing that.

Wow! That was quick! Usually it takes a few days to get responses from Plugin Developers! Kudos!
I did end up removing the href myself. You’re code was easy to pinpoint where it was.

um..it shouldn’t. Can you tell me what version of the shopping cart plugin you are using?
